Phil Morsman has made seven limited edition screenprints with Kip Gresham to date. As a painter whose work evokes mood and emotion through colour and abstract form, Morsman’s work translates effortlessly into the medium of screenprint, which lends itself to bold mark-making and a vivid palette. Describing his work as ‘vibrant and meditative’, Morsman’s practice is informed by a wide range of influences including the weather, jazz music, and landscape.
Morsman has exhibited widely throughout the UK and has undertaken significant public commissions including large-scale works at Cumberland Infirmary, Newcastle University and the Amman conference centre, Jordan.
